I'm planning on buying some 2" drop spindles for the front but I haven't decided what to do to lower the rear. Lowering springs in the rear is the obvious solution, but I'm not sure what brand to buy? Any suggestions?

I'm going to start off by lowering the car 2" but I may want to go lower. How many inches can I drop the car without rubbing? The car will have 215/65/15 tires on stock '83 Monte SS wheels.

Also, when I'm installing the spindles/springs I plan on replacing ball joints and shocks. Are there any modifications you would suggest I do while I'm in there? For example, better OEM parts I can find at the junk yard.

replacement balljoints from moog are fine. Drop the front, leave the back up for a mad rake...

I've thought about that, my plan was to install the drop spindles first, drive it around like that, see how I like it, and then if I want I'd order lowering springs.

Any suggestions on lowering springs for the rear?

I have stock replacement coils all around, they lower it about an inch. Belltech is a safe bet if you want 1.5-2" drop coils.
