I have a 87 MC´SS with original 305, and just bought a LS1 out of a wrecked 95 impala, I have the computer from it also. I can do the swap but what do i do as far as the wiring? i wanna keep it fuel injected just need to no what to do, or whats the best way to go about it. Or is there any web sites with the wiring diagram for the ls1 motor to the gbody wiring system???

95 Impala's came with the 5.7 LT1, 5.0 or the 4.3 not a lS1 unless it was swapped in from a newer ride... I was going to to do the LT1 swap but found the LS1 instead for my GP and there is a few members here with it.

you beat me to it! That's what I get for running this by wikipedia..

Well on a positive note the LT1 should still be more powerful than your 305.

 as long as we can help him out it's all good! and yeah your'e right about more power but far more fuel efficient as well but who cares about that...

lt1swap.com

you can also have a wire harness made... do you have the harness off the motor too?

Yeah I do have the original harness to, just trying to figure out which wires are needed to make this work

basically you will be making the engine/harness operate with 4 wires, starter, ground, acc, constant power. the link I sent you has most of the information to make that happened...
