has anyone ever dropped an ls6 into a gbody? im looking to do a fuel injected motor swap in my 83 cutlass. also, how much does this usually run price wise?? im considering paying to have a swap done by a local perfoprmance shop so it is done right.

JohnB on montecarloss swapped an LS1 and later an LS7 into his monte. He has a very detailed write-up out there (don't have the link offhand). You'll need deep pockets if you plan on paying someone to do the work.

On MalibuRacing.com there is a section called LSxTech. There is a bunch of good info and several write-ups of nothing but LSx swaps and info. There is also an EFI section so this is just LSx stuff. The LS - Malibu swap would be identical to a g-body swap.
