Finally getting my wish to have an LSA in my GN.
Went through the suspension, brakes and reinforcing the frame with a notch before undertaking this conversion.
Lonnie Diers Stage III 4L80E Transmission with custom cut Billet 1st and 2nd gears 2.75 1st, 1.57 2nd.
Cooling system is already converted to a Ron Davis radiator so cooling should not be an issue.
Was running my stroked 4.1 on E85 and hoping to have this running on E85.
Nick Micale is doing the install with his vintage air conversion for more engine bay room.
After in and running a turbo (or twin) is(are) going in front of the supercharger to turn up the volume a little.
Total project should be around 2 months.
Here is this weeks progress:

Ron Davis radiator and fans. They have a kit for the Grand National and it made a world of difference instantly. The 4.1 never got over 180 after I installed this. I just had to trim the top cover and re-powdercoat. Wanted the install to look factory.

Update: Frame notch for the compressor complete. Engine and A/C are in. So much more room with the Vintage Air system.

Thanks. This is my second set of seats. I first went with GTO seats, but they are a little too big(sit too high, the footprint is big and the backs are really thick. I had them in the car to mock up, but getting in the rear seat became very difficult.
I found these off a 2012 Scion TC and loved the feel of these.
The fronts mount in existing studs, but the rears mount to the seat belt bolts. Surprising how well they fit and slide back further...

Looks like it could just fit under the GN hood. That would be sweet.
