Maaco

I've had two cars painted by Maaco in Cincinnati with good results. One is a daily driver the other is more of a weekend car. I didn't get the cheapo on either one, but felt like I got more than expected both times. The manager I worked with said that all Maaco shops are independently owned and some are better than others.

also the more prep werk you do the less itll cost. so you should strip the paint and block sand the panels strait to where you want then and then prime yourself and then sand and then send it to macco, but imo if ya did that much, just do it yerself.

the one in forest park does real good work

Maaco is still better than most of these guys around here that have these wannabe shops. If i could do it over I would have had maaco paint my car over any of the wanna be paint and body men in the shops around mine

Here in PHX most body shops just do Collision work. It took me three years to find a body shop to paint my El Camino.
No one had the time or wanted to deal with it. I found a CarStar collision center here that specialised in custom paint for high end motor homes IE..Multi color custom paint jobs.
I just happened to walk in on a off week for them with a fist full of cash.
I got a first class State-of-the art PPG waterborne paint job, just because they were slow at the time.
Maaco is just about the only name brand place you can just walk into and get a paint job here.
I guess we just got lucky.

Had my car painted by Maaco in Northern KY almost 6 years ago. Still looks as good as it did fresh minus some dings of my own doing. They do a good job spraying as long as you don't cheap out on the paint. As said, do as much prep as you can. I've been more than thrilled with mine.

Me personally would not get an entire car painted from them. I hear they pull too many shortcuts. I got some parts painted from them, it was good but my uncle gotta car painted from them, not so good.
