Well, with the holidays coming up, I probably won't get too much done! I worked well over 30 years in industrial sheet metal so this tissue paper sheet metal will take a little getting used to but, this should be fun learning new things.

I know a lot of us have thought about this mod, Me & Doug have been scheming on it amongst ourselves recently  . The transition from filler sheetmetal to the door area is a make it or break it area in the design of this mod.Doug's recent idea of inspiration from the curve of the roof to the rear window area of the Duster seems to be pretty much what my mind was sortof picturing, see link. http://www.valiant.org/duster.html

Doug, how bout using a section of urethane or floral foam to fine tune a model of this shape, & spray a little red paint on it.???? Foam is much easier to shape than metal & could save some time in the long run. Also is that a tuck pointer in your vice, I need to make one. I have a cheap English wheel in my collection now, but haven't liked it much being that I'm patr cajun french , part indian.

I,m hoping Doug will finish his before I get to mine, since I'll be a while getting to mine. 😢
