I hope all of you guys, families and friends are doing ok with that huge storm. It looks like Bonnewagon area was included in the area to get hit.

My brother in nyc is getting snow pretty good. It's just starting in my area in CT.

Normally we get a cold front from you guys up in CA but we can't blame you this time🙂

I'll speak to my people about those cold fronts and please accept my apology on behalf of the country...😎

Jose'. what are you doing up in Watertown?? I have a brother that lives in Lowville, just outside of Watertown....I don't know what the hell he's doing up there...nor do I hear from him anymore.

I notice that NJ has been experiencing coastal flooding. I'm fearful for my friends back in Brooklyn who are near the water. Some didn't fare that well as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
The tides are high, there's strong winds, etc...similar things that lead up to the flooding.

Jack, I hope they are ok, I think I remember you talking about a friend of yours who lost alot including his cars when Sandy hit.

Thanks Steve,
Yes, I do remember our conversation about Sandy and all the destruction caused by her.
One friend lost one his BMW's, lots of woodworking tools, etc. that were in his basement.
On the first floor, he lost all his vinyl albums, and had to cut open his walls..besides having to replace his electrical fuse panel. Mold had become a huge concern after the fact.

Another friend has to totally rebuild his house, and has been fighting with the city concerning codes, etc. Several of his Porsche project cars were submerged. Insurance paid for one of them, the others, no. Saltwater is highly corrosive.

I've heard that there's still a bunch of houses that have been sitting abandoned since...including my in-laws old house which belongs to me bro-in-law. It was swept off of it's foundation.

I am hating that my car is out in the snow and some of the glass is out. I been trying to get a permit for weeks to convert my family room to a garage. Also they just emailed me yesterday asking me to add something to the plans and then pay the fees. They had to do that hours before the snow!

I feel your pain. The car cover is taking the brunt. Just sweep off the piles before it starts to melt...
