Hello from Toronto, Canada.
Good to see you keeping the American iron alive over there!
Not sure about European spec, but on our side of the pond, your V6 car would most likely be equipped with a TH200 with a lock up converter. Being a wagon, it could possibly (though not very likely) have a TH350 with lock up.

Hi guys,

My friend with his blue 79 is very disappointed, he has bought his car on pictures from KC CLassic auto in KS .

http://www.kcclassicauto.com/1979_Chevr ... 22-Lg.html

Look at the description and the pictures, and the price !

In fact when the car arrived overhere, the right wheelwell was completly rusted, as the rear floors under the rear seat and the rear section of the frame ! And the front floors have been patched very badly !

Concerning my 78, I removed the vinyl top, the roof is a little bit scratched but the Malibu is a lot nicer than with the dark roof.
I should received the new radiator and other parts this week, I hope to have it on the road next week.

David

David,

I too was looking at purchasing your friends wagon from KC Classics when they had it for sale. I couldn't pull the money together for the price they were asking at the time. Sorry to hear that it wasn't what he was expecting. Would he happen to still have the wagon and if so what does it look like now?

Nice ride you have as well.

Carlies dad
