malibu rear end 7.5 or 8.5

i have a 78 malibu classic with 21 pinion teeth and 48 ring gear teeth i was wondering do they come with 7.5 rears i havent pulled it out yet

thanks man i ordered 3.73s for it from jegs just wanted to make sure it was 7.5 autozone only sales 8.5 differ cover gasket so it made me wonder thanks and the gears do suck i have a 383 and you cant tell with them gears

Advance Auto's computers only list the 8.5 gasket too. Never did get an answer from corporate as to why.
