Manual brakes

Funny story, someone was giving me sheetz about running a brake booster at close to 140mph. Basically, they talked me into converting to manual brakes. So I searched heand came up with this thread (pretty recent). I called Dave and wow, easy to deal with and a plethora of information.

I’ll be buying from him over the winter season and making the swap.

Why are you not supposed to run a booster at high speed? First I have heard of it.

If the motor quits/explodes, then you have about one push of the pedal before you’re out of vacuum and brake power if you’re running something with forced induction.
