Hey im thinking about trying something with my paint scheme when i get it done. Im gonna 2 tone my cutlass black diamond on top and galaxy grey on bottom then marbelizing my hood scoop and if i decide to do racing stripes marbelizing those instead since they will run over the hood scoop as well. Just curious if anybody else has done that and what you guys think of my idea.

That sounds cool! I've never seen it done to a gbody so it would be interesting to see.

Yeah me either thats why I wanna try it lol. I also wanna paint the part of my dash where my guages mount cause im gonna make a custom dash to fit the guages i want to use along with a plastic piece that will go on the console I make for the car so it goes along with my car other than just the hood scoop.

with the marble effect it can be nice as long as its not overpowering

It's not that hard to do. I did my toolbox in the blue marbilizer. It looked awesome. They take the basecoat which is black. They spray that down. Then they spray the marbilizer in the color that you want. Red, blue, yellow, pink, green, Orange. Then as soon as you spray the marbilizer you take saran wrap and lightly spread on it to get that look to it. Wait 2 minutes and pull saran wrap off. Then spray you clear coat. Its pretty Cool when its done. Also I have done this too is when you paint your stripes I've taken a torch and lite just the acetalyn bottle and let the black soote fall down on the paint and then clear coat over that. People would ask how I did it. Also you can do water droplets to. Spray your paint. Then take water bottle and spray droplets of water on the paint. Let it dry and the spray clear over it. Just a few options I have done in the past.
