My dad found some pistons i glanced at on ebay. They claim 9.75:1 compression. Is this too much? How do i achieve this good "quench" and yes, its going to be a street motor on pump gas

I'm running 10.5:1 on an iron headed 350. I run 93 at the pump and have never had any pinging

Maybe i'll shoot for 10:1 then. Im just trying to make a snotty street motor that sees a couple track nights a year.
