White 88 cutlass brougham (bench seat,column shift, analog dashboard,tan interior) - euro clip 307 , 200r4, 7.625'' Rear

The AC is there - yes it does work! It needs recharged and might have a small leak but worked until it ran out of fluid so I stopped using and unhooked it at that time, I didn't find the ac very effective when it did work, although tinting the windows helped x10

No pics yet ( to this day 😳 ) but on Mon/ Tues. my car will be headed through a shop to see what put it out of commission when I parked it and I may decide to sell it at that time. I wanted to preserve this vehicle and hand it down to my child but a legal situation is begging me to consider bankrupting myself for the benefit of a ( God Damn ) lawyer. I really do not want to sell this vehicle very much but just don't see another way to resolve this situation. I will know more about the mechanical condition under the hood by beginning of this up-coming week. The car ran very well until I parked it for a few days at my grandparents vacation house in Las Cruces, New Mexico. When they left the home, little did I know they would not be returning and have since found there way into a nursing home so it has been in storage in the dry desert climate of southern NM for the last ( almost 3 ) years. I am not a very good mechanic under the hood so I cant really speak on the 307 in the car, but the 200r4 is good to go for sure so I will at least vouch for that. I expect that a standard accessory such as the fuel pump/carb is responsible for that the vehicle doesn't stay running at this time.

I can speak on my interior and condition of the vehicle at least. The exterior of the vehicle has virtually no rust, and the frame only recently developed a light brown surface rust but still had traces of undercoat present when I purchased it 5 years ago. The cutlass lived it's entire life in Oklahoma/ Arkansas until I picked up from the Ozarks - which is a story I will have to take the time to write out in the G-Body Tales section one of these days.

The car weathered only one winter season in the North Shore Chicago suburbs when ( at that time ) I was having an electronic problem w/ my jeep. It is still 2.56 gears pitching sidearm one wheel peel Stock/Stock/Stock Brougham w/ the original cloth top in black (SHOT). The Brougham top is in DISMAL condition, but I guarantee that it is the only fugly thing about the car right now. Car rocking original white paint job, door sticker was still inside the driver door jam when I bought the car, it has fell mostly off but still sticker residue there to prove this, obviously I'm leading up to: its time for a paint job on the car, but there is NO BONDO OR RUST on this one.

My light brown cloth interior is easily a 7/10, and I only drop it a few points bc of a spot on the p-side dash where somebody who chose not to wear a seatbelt left an imprint of their forehead. The carpet is not bad, I have a new stereo w/ correct install plate installed and I believe the remote to the radio is inside the vehicle but I'm not there to verify that. Anyway, if the remote to it is gone you can get them from best buy new too. My park-brake is angled bc I installed two 'Q-corner' speaker mounts. I have covers for those speakers but I couldnt get them to mount up bc I didnt have the right tool.
There are newer 5x7's in the rear shelf too.

I installed a black suede ceiling in the car which is held in place by the dome light but could use some additional support front/back eventually. It looks and feels very nice for now and was done professionally. The suede ceiling is a single piece, so it it not 'pinned up' w/ buttons it is just flat black.

5% tint on 4/6 windows (0% reflective strip on front window as well), but the rear window cracked over a RR tracks so I replaced w/ a safelite (WITH defrost) but I never had the rear window re-tinted. One time I had to break into my own car so I scratched the tint on the driver's door window. Driver door doesn't sit entirely right, it should be hanged over. Works fine as is but sometimes you have to close it 2-3x before it latches correctly. One of the panels in the back seat area is bent up.

I installed a mirror w/ a camera system in the cutlass but never found the proper mirror hanging kit for it, so the mirror is just hanging there right now.

The car is sitting on 17 inch Billet rims w/ B caps on 2/4 wheels, but the front hubs would have to be sanded to accept a Billet caps up front so I never got to that. BFGoodrich tires about 75% tread or better but probably dry rotting quickly due to the desert climate. The wheels did rub the inner fender (barely) during parallel parking so they could use some spacers, but work fine.

I could say more about the car but anyone in the Las Cruces/El Paso / Roswell I-10 corridor or passing through should definitely stay tuned if you're looking for a nice cutlass to do but not a big fan of body work/ interior. I would say that it's time for a new engine. I can get the 307 turned on and running reasonable for you if you are interested in grabbing the car, but I wouldn't suggest you should plan to drive it more than 1- 2 state right now until that engine stand the test of time. Everything else on the car is pretty good and pic coming shortly so stay tune if you're in the area.

Understand that this car is 85% of the way there but I would say yes it is a borderline 'project car' because of the hanging mirror damaged dash and it will probably need new shocks since it just sat 3 years unattended. I have not checked the bearings and bushings to see how they are holding up w/ the new heavier rims, but they are probably 50% worn or better as well so be advised. Brakes worked fine stock system but I had it serviced, probably needs new pads shortly too, however. I have some pads to a 94 box blazer just chilling at my house somewhere, which I believe can be used on this car too.

I am only asking $1800 for the car right now and I don't care what any deadbeat loser got to say about that bc $1800 not bad for a rust free G-body on newer rims/tires and a clean interior w/ newer speakers. The wheels cost me more than a grand 4 years ago and I only drove the vehicle about 6 - 8,000 miles on them. I changed the oil 3x and chose 'high mileage' castrol for the duration of owning the car. Anyway if you're from that area just stay tuned for some pics coming this week. The car is right off of I-10 in NM so it wouldn't bee too hard to ship if someone out of state is interested, but I personally won't be too enthusiastic about helping ship to Canada bc the car priced a little low to bother w/ all that stuff - like, I will talk to you about if you are serious bc I know my canuck cousins are in dire need of rust free cars up there, but just be aware it'll end up costing you nearly as much as the car did itself if you want the car shipped that far

I have tried to sell for a long time my other a car a nice 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham W a 350 TBI which I would rather sell than my cutlass but I wont go into details about that car on here R now bc I already posted about it once and didnt get any bites on that one, which is surprising since I would think us guys w g-body car are all GM fans. The cad is in Northwest Indiana and needs a garage to call home before start showing rust (just wore off the last of its undercoat and starting to show a little browning so its time for the car to go to a better home IMO) PM me if you're int. in either car, but if it's about dreaming then save that sh*t for your wife or your pillow please thank you
