mini starter suggestions?

Has anybody bought a 307 starter from say Rock Auto, it would obviously be cheaper than most all mini starters

Cheaper but remember, they were designed to turn over low compression 307's. I tried putting one on my mild, 9.6:1 455 years ago and it couldn't turn it over. It got maybe one revolution and then took a dump.

x2 i as well use the CSR mini starter.havent had any probs with it.

whats the part # for the CSR mini starter?.. and do u have longtube headers on yours?.. any pix of uor install?

the starter says it is for a chevy engine.. will it fit on an olds 350 block?

you didn't say what engine you had, just go to jegs and get the part number from there
