Model number for brake light?

One of the lower brake lights is out on my monte carlo, whats the number for it?

ok i found out the bulb size but now i cant even remove the dam bulb from the socket! is there a special way to do it, because ive been pulling on it and it wont even budge!

If your talking about the tail lights u got to grab the bulb and twist sideways then pull out.

Yea its the tailights, i cant get the bulb out of the bulb holder, its like it wont budge

you need to push it in first, then unscrew and it should pop right out... somtimes the contacts oxidize inside the bulb holder, making it a little hard to get out. Once you have the bulb out i suggest you clean the bulb the best you can apply some Diaelectric grease to the contacts to make it easier to get out next time.

wow dont i feel dumb, it came right out whats the model number is it 1157?

They should be 2057

Well the bulb i took out was an 1157, and my friend had some so i got them from him for free ! Lights work great now! Thanks for thew info!

The only difference between the 1157 and 2057 bulbs is the candle power ratio :|
