I never have ordered from them yet, I plan to get a camshaft/lifters from them in the future as a matter of fact.

I have heard though, and I can't confirm if it's true but I heard they repackage parts and stick a mondello sticker on whatever it is, but like I said, I can't confirm this.

I never heard anything bad about Dick Miller.

.

The cams that they have listed on their site are Engle cams.

You should ALWAYS do your homework, particularly before you buy something. There's so much bad news relating to Mondello, it's a wonder anyone orders anything from them. As FE3X said, why press your luck with a disreputable place when there are better options? JMO

Spend some time reading on Realoldspower.com or oldspower.com and it quickly becomes clear that Mondello has some serious issues and they continue to piss people off. They are certainly not the Oldsmobile experts of our time and I would stay as far away as possible.

Have yet to buy any parts from DMR, a little out of my price range right now, but I did order his books. The one came immediately, the other I had to wait for, no prob, it was noted on my packing slip. I called up after about a month of waiting, to see what the status was, the man himself answered the phone, that went a long way in my book. He said hold tight, they should be getting the books in an another week. A week and a half later I had the book in hand, just as promised. Granted minute, but when you call a company, the owner answers the phone, and knows exactly what's going on, is a sign of a business that actually gives a sh*t about customer service.

LOL!!!! Wow, I can't make this up. they LITERALLY bad mouthed realoldspower and the olds442FAQ websites. I swear to god, the subject got brought up on the phone because i asked them about main/block failure with the 403s and they asked where i got that info.

This is disgusting. Thanks for the read up on the head gaskets, JRM what do you mean the color would start fading from the gaskets? I'm pretty sure at this point they didn't open them. So now the question is, will these standard steel core laminate head gaskets work for my 403? 8507 PT, FEL PRO.

Last night i layed out the whole kit and tried looking up as many of the gaskets as i could, and yeah most of them are standard gaskets, ****. I payed alittle under 200 after tax for this "performance" kit.

Also i looked up the oil pump they sold me, its a melling (M22 HV) and not some cheapo thank god, but they did mark the price up 30$.70 on summit, 100 at mondello)

Also they sent me a pickup that they claim will work with a stock pan, but i dont think so...

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mil-18410

Thats what they sent me, i payed 50$ though mondello. That pickup says its for marine pan style? says it will work on a pan that has 7.62" depth. :blam:

That is what i want to hear, the owner taking care of his business, working with customers and finding solutions. Customers are essential for a business to survive , take care of them and you will have customers that will return time and time again. I don't know why that's is so hard, to me that proper business etiquette. I've done plenty of body work and paint jobs on the side and I ALWAYS am in contact with the customer so that the job is done right the first time.

I called Dick miller today, and spoke with the man himself lol. I told him about my ordeal with mondello and he gave me some good advice. I'll be picking up my cam . girdle from him, as well as some other essentials for these 403s.

He also recommended i pickup a different set of head gaskets, with 10:1 those fel pros might not hold up for a long time.

Now i have to call mondello....i'm not even going to bother with the head gaskets because i wont get anywhere, i'll see if they can at least do me right with the oil pump pickup.
