You will need to trim the hole opening that holds the plastic part for the ac. I trimmed too much in this pic. I hole saw will do the trick.. This is if you have the tripple pod like mine. Not sure on the standard no pod setup

I gently pried on the outer edge of the factory plaque until the clips popped out. The new plaque has 4 threaded studs that line up perfectly with the factory holes in the dash. You should have 4 wing nut's and 4 round washers. I had some larger washers from the inner fender well area and used those in addition to the 4 supplied. I removed to glove box to be able to reach up inside and thread the wingnuts.. Really simple to do. No drilling required. Only cutting done was in the area shown in my last pic. I did that cuz the last gauge had clearance issues. Dual gauge setup and the no gauge style won't require the cutout. Gently pull the other one off, remove your glove box, line the studs up with the factory holes/slots and push the plaque in. The slots allow for you to center the plaque up. Reach up behind the dash thru the glove box area and feel Around for the plaques studs. Washers and then screw on the wing nuts. Now I have wiring running along behind the dash, so I unhook the battery to be safe. You won't be able to see and will have to feel around.. I may have a few pics of the factory clips and a photo or 2 of me installing the plaque. I'll look for it and post.. Good luck!
