What do you think about the rear shocks? I'm using Amazon as a resource to find parts, as RockAuto doesn't seem to sell Bilstein's.

Thanks for all the help! I may just run the KYB'S until the whole front suspension is updated, then switch to Bilsteins. But for the rear, I'll start off with the Bilsteins.

I was going to say those are not the ones since they are the F4 but it appears that is new number they are using with the AK series. When I bought my AK they did not have a choice of compression rates and rebound rates. They do now so you'll have to consider what reaction you want from the shock. You can thank circle track guys for the changes cause the shocks were good for a street car but the rebound rates were much too quick for a circle track car.

The HD Bilsteins are self adjusting shocks. I like linear shocks and springs so they are consistant in compression and rebound

So all three of those are HD shocks? Which ones do you use?

I use the AK series, it seems that the F4 is the new name for the AK series and they come in two different lengths so with a lowered car the short version works well. The HD's do not come in a shorter length

Sorry I keep bothering you with this. I think I found the set for the rear.

Got the description here:
http://www.truckspring.com/products/Bil ... 50-M0.aspx

So the Amazon version is here:
http://www.amazon.com/Bilstein-F4-BE5-E ... E5-E250-M0

I'll have to shop around and see if I can find a deal on these. Amazon's 3rd party is charging a lot for shipping. Doubtful I'll be able to find a shop locally that sells these.

EDIT: Looks like CARiD . com sells them with free shipping. around $51 each!

I got the 5659's for the rear in the mail today. A lot more turns in this spring compared to the stock ones. I'm over the next month or two to get the Bilstein's for the rear. Thanks again everyone for the help.
