I might have mentioned it. I had referred to using a steering box out of a Jeep Cherokee. I'll have to find the article in Hot Rod Magazine. It apparently is a quick ratio box, but of course you'll have to replace the pitman arm with a G-body 800 series arm.

I found it...it's the July '14 issue of Hot Rod under Scrounger's Guide. It's not from a Cherokee, but from a '96-'98 first generation Grand Cherokee. It allegedly has the 12.7:1 ratio. This information should be helpful for anyone looking for that elusive quick ratio box out of a Monte SS, GN/ T-Type, 442, H/O, etc.

It's a Saginaw box same as in the G body. All the boxes listed below are 12.7-1 and remember you can pick up a reman box for a little over $100. so depending on how much time you might spend hunting a used box down the reman price isn't bad
