Mark, if that's a 10037378 then it's a real good box. It's made by MSD but to GM's specs. Where did you find it and why isn't it in your car?

Steve, I saw those at swap meets for years, never knew if it was bogus or not. The connectors looked like they were for the HEI with CCC. Don't worry, I have plenty of genuine MSD-6 boxes, and even an old MSD-5 for points.

It sucks when a company starts cutting corners like that. And trys to sell the Off Shore crap under a good name.

At work we were having trouble with Edelbrock Carbs. They were constantly flooding out. We replaced needle and seats, etc. and couldnt figure it out. We called the main Tech guy there and he said that all their carburetors are manufactured over seas (Not China) by Magnetti Morelli but then assembled here. He said that those must have been an older batch because now they actually bought out the Magnetti Morelli plant in the US and now their carbs are 100% built in the USA. Never a problem again.

I believe this when I see it for sure, they have made junk carbs for years, have returned three of them myself. I have been told similar stories before, as for me I would switch to pouring gas down the intake with a funnel before I ever bought one of them chrome pieces of crap again

I started not trusting Edelbrock "quality" when gold rust started appearing on peoples newer aluminum intakes a couple years ago.
