Bought her for $1200 in 2005. Orig engine was a 260. First the transmission went. Got that rebuilt then months later the engine died. Dropped a 350 out of a 1970 delta 88 in her. Then blew the transmission again. Replaced that with a rebuilt th350. Blew the transmission again. Got her rebuilt again. Just recently, i had the engine rebuilt...now Im working on the interior. Im eyein these blk racing seats from summit for $150..

That is an 81-86 front clip. Otherwise it looks like a clean Cutlass.

thanks for the clarification...

That's why the fenders don't line up to the doors. Unfortunately they never will without heavy modification...

yeah thats a 78-79-80 cutlass with a newer fornt end. id ask around on here for the right noes and fenders.the doors will sometimes take a bit to get lined up right so thay shut all the way. ur pics it looks like the door is hanging a little to low lay loesing the lower hing bolt and leave the uper hing bolts a little tighter then grab the end of the bottum of the door in pulling up as u tighten up the bolts. be ezer if u have a buddy help u. i did that with mine. i had to do my drives door when i got i got mine first try abd shuts like it should.but sometimes it takes a few trys.when i did the doors on my 83 trans am it took almost a week of messing with the doors to get them right but that was doin it with no help

I just replaced the hinges on my passenger side. Easy to do, though requires two people. First you have three bolts on the door on each hinge which need to be taken out. After that the door can be taken off, the you can get at the body bolt for the hinges. FYI you can use the top hinges from most g bodies, with little modification. Unsure on whether the four door lower hinge works too for a two door car. Anyways putting the doors back on is the challenge. Need two people and some crates so you can get the alignment right. Key thing is to remove the lock bolt on the b pillar so you don't have to worry about that effecting the alignment. These hinges have a tendency to sag, you can buy rebuild kits or new hinges from either a decent wrecker or new from an online supplier. such as opgi. Hope this helps.

Taking doors off isn't fun. You definately need a friend to help you with holding them in place. You have a nice looking motor though.
