appreciate the feedback. I bought the car like that...I actually dig this front clip better then the orig 79-80 front clip. Its only the driver side door that sags, tho...the pass is perfect. except the inside door handle is broken. Is that fixable or should i just look for a 79/80 door?

and what do you guys think about the pipes coming out the back instead of the sides?

the inside door handle is a fixable part, not too hard and they are universal for all 78-88 a/g-body 2 door cars.
the door sagging is a typical thing to happen to the cars, since its the door used most often

yo i think i know you bruh...you be on the southside sometimes? hahahahah...if you gon redo the pipes then i always liked them coming out behind the rear tires..i'm just used to seeing them straight back in montes and the other way with cutlasses and regals..but it looks good either way. i'll have those headers for you in a month or so too so try to hold off and we'll put them on and then maybe get JD to help run the pipes if we can't do it...i think a correct year front clip will fix the line up issue..you know when it warms up it's back to the yards..

The easiest way I have found to get the G body doors lined up is to have both front fenders off car, set doors in place, latched onto the striker, with a thick peice of carboard, around 3/8 thick, holding the bottom of door off of rocker panel. Get the body lines on the door lined up, get your jamb even all the way around the door opening and tighten the bolts up. Install the front end and line up fenders to the doors. I would install new pins and bushings before door install that way you don't have to readjust the doors.
Good luck.

 yeah, im waitin on those headers..patiently. come through this weekend and help me with this door sh*t.. i'll probably keep the pipes that way but i will def need a shop to put the headers on because of the welding..like you and suffrn6 said the correct clip yrs would fix the issue but to me a 81-86 front clip/body looks way better then a 78-80 front clip.

i see what you're saying but like blake44 said....those doors will never line up because the different yrs of the front clip81-86 and doors 79-80..if you look at the gap between the fender and door you can see..

Me and the homie lg1200 hit up the yard this weekend and found a 83 cutlass in beautiful shape. Didnt have time to grab the top door panels so i grabbed the bottom two instead. They where in perfect shape. also grabbed the back window trim for hardtop conversion and the two door pillars.. ill be going back this weekend to grab the windows, if they're still there, the grill and what ever else i might need.

anyone know where i can get new pins/clips from to put the panels back on?

its an grant steering wheel with an olds horn button. from summit. its pretty easy to install. it was my first time and it took me 15mins. You'll need a 'steering wheel puller' ..you can rent one from autozone etc. ..
