Started to fit main hoop today
Fun fun bar is tight to the roof it lays flat on the frame new body bushings should give me a little more clearance to weld might knock a half inch off each side just to lower it a little

why did you cut small holes in the body? How are you welding it to the frame?

I have all winter long to get to it and with all this rain things are on hold basements floor has 6” water Manning the pumps right now

I cut out 6x6 patches to get it welded and still lifted the body lol. Saved the old pieces and welded them back in .

I’m not putting a carpet back in and I don’t want it to look like Frankenstein sh*t

I’m going to have to get creative here
Where the windshield runner and the door bar meet at the frame definitely going to have to cut a hole in the floor and re-patch

This. I lifted my body about 4-6" and no way Id be able to weld them without cutting out the patches I did.

OP, you are going to have to weld those main hoop bars from the top, going to need bigger holes cut. To weld that from under the body you would need to lift the body like 2 feet.

I only need to fit the stinger in there to weld not the whole welder lol don’t sweat it I’ll be OK
