MY 305 MOTOR ALOT OF CHROME!!!!

There was a famous saying back in the '60's. "If it don't go, chrome it". :lol:
I think the term originated from the show car circuit. There were many show cars that looked fabulous, but didn't run. Sometimes the engines were just mock up's...but they looked great with their blowers, Hillborn injection, or multiple carbs.

NICE ENGINE....LOOKING GOOD AND FAST.....

Almost fired it up last night, tonight might be the night.

those 305s can be perky with a little freshining up, yep.
And I always found them to have a very throaty exhaust note... My first car, a 78 Camaro, with a 305 roared!

... 350s seem to have a more raspy sound, you can hear the valvetrain and other mechanical sounds a little more. Where-as, the 305s seem to be throaty, without so much of the mechanical noises.

anyways... your engine looks awesome, good work.

I'm not a big chrome guy... I prefer the "stock" or brushed alloy look.

Very Nice...keeping it all clean and original...Over here in cali...you need to be blinging....lol...nice size motor...
