I need to get the engine in ASAP so i can have a car to drive but I wanted it to look nice before i put the engine in thats why I'm so focused on that area. As soon as I get the engine in & running I'm going to jump right on all the other stuff

I'm about to repair the hole in my heater box using fiberglass

I put tape over the hole from the outside

Inside shot of the hole. I took some sandpaper & scuffed it up real good in the inside of the box to give the fiberglass something to bite into.

I brushed resin on the inside of the box & started laying the fiberglass

After about 3 layers of fiberglass I let it sit for about 20 minutes to cure then pulled the tape off. it looks a little rough.

Here I put a little body filler on & sanded it smooth

Brushed the paint on and.....

What kind of paint are you using? It's looking really nice on those inner fenders and heaterbox. Great progress
