Its the color thats on the 07-08 corvettes(atomic orange). It was either that or 02 dodge viper red. I wanted a color that would stand out when you seen it but not be too crazy so thats why I went with the orange instead of the viper red. Plus the color of the interior helped with the decision too. 😀 Dont know where the thumbs up is but heres a smiley.

paint came out great! looks like you buffed the sh*t out it! came out smooth! are you using the universal Energy suspension swaybar bushings? I bought them but compared to the originals,they looked much thinner how they working for you?

Thanks. I am debating do I want to scuff it up and shoot a couple more layers of clear on it. Currently has 3..so 2 and half since wetsand and buffing. Yea they are the ones that be on the isle. I am not sure how they compare to the factory because I also swapped swaybars. I have front and rear monte ss swaybars but I can tell a difference with those.

That paint looks amazing! I also thought the red lettering on your intake was a nice touch.

Thanks. I wish the intake still looked like that. Motor was getting up to 230 degrees so you can guess what happened. I'm not even currently driving it until I get the electric fan to keep this beast cool. Funny thing is that even at that temp is not overheating but still wayy to high. Probably because its bored .040 over and it being a buick motor. I've read that they are thin wall cast. This is how they kept the weight down and made it comparable to a sbc weight. Also had a fuel leak(still think I do).

Check with the guys on the buickv8.com board. They might be able to help. It might be as simple as timing.

Did a custom graphic. If you can't tell I put the 19 above and the 78 below. It came out nice the first time but then I had to redo the whole trunk. Since I had to redo the trunk I had to redo the graphic and it didnt peel right. Its just a vinyl sticker I had made if anybody is curious.

I do pretty good work to have been painting less than a year if I don't say so myself.

The emblem I painted. I moved it to the center instead of the side also.
