My 88 Monte Carlo SS

This is my first Gbody it's a 88 Monte Carlo I've been trying to buy one for a long time it's not the one I originally wanted but it's in pretty good shape for the year it's was all original I'm planning a Ls swap in the near future I don't want to change to much on it I'll probably get the body work done and re spray it the original color and try to find a good stripe kit as close to the original as I can find ac/heat and everything else works the radio has wifi,gps,Bluetooth,backup camera and I have it all hooked up it also tells you your speed I've swapped the interior speakers but I'll probably swap them again for 6x9s all of the headlights have LEDs and the dims have Halo oracle's

Nice car. The LS swap is a good idea. People won't expect a stock looking SS to run that good.
One idea you could do is paint the stripes on instead of vinyl, and do the clear over everything. I've done that many times.

Nice car, I personally prefer our cars without the vinyl stripe kits, it just looks cleaner IMO.

Painting the stripes isn't difficult. Take ALOT of measurements and pics of the factory stripes 1st before you even start any bodywork. When the car is ready for paint spray your color choice where ever the stripes are to be. When that color is set up, mask off with 3M Fineline tape according to your measurements how the stripes are supposed to look. When the masking is done you'll be looking at how your stripes will appear after the main color is applied. This gives you the chance to make any changes or corrections. Apply the main color. When it's set up long enough GENTLY &SLOWLY peel the masking tape off the stripes. Shoot a couple coats of clear over the stripes first then clear the entire car. That's how I've always done it with real good results.

A few updates I got my halos hooked up and my straight pipes installed but now I want headers next I'm gonna attempt fixing my tach and install the window felt
