For some of you in the dayton ohio area, you might have noticed recently in the news a armed suspect who robbed a dominos pizza, stole an employees truck, and decided to joy ride for 4 days androb a drive thru. Well he stole my truck. Its a 95 chevy 1500 extended cab z71. Teal/silver two tone paint and meaty all terrain bfgoodrich tires. She has the factory 350. For as big of a truck as she is, shes real peppy when you lean into the skinny pedal. And trust me, thru snow and ice, she will craw out of anything. The 4 by works just fantastic. I plan on a cowl hood, tint the windows, throttle body spacer, shift kit, lockers all around, and probably a 4in lift. I want to replace the cab corners. I need to replace the dashboard since the previous owner had a anger problem and punched it. Leaving a big crack going from the radio to the windshield. Other than that the pictures im posting now are before she was stolen. Lets hope he didnt do too much damage. Oh, and yes we did find her. Police will release her tomorrow. Judging by the news broadcast, she looks unharmed. But we will see..

If you need any parts, I'm in Cincinnati & have a 96 extended cab for sale. The motor has about 50,000 miles on it and the trans has about the same. I'm only asking $2000 for it. Like yours it will go anywhere. Ice and snow have never been a problem.

Interesting history. My buddy bought a Subaru once that was used in a crime spree including a bank robbery. He got swarmed at an intersection by police and FBI. Apparently the previous owner and the car were featured on America's Most Wanted.

that's creepy because how could they possibly know which Subaru it was? there are so many, for instance if it was say a blue Subaru WRX used then what did they do? swarm every blue subaru wrx they see on the road? for some reason it sounds like they can use the black box on board for tracking certain cars.. idk scary thought there bud.

This was in the mid '90s. He was driving an early '80s GL 2dr hatchback. Pretty uncommon car anyway. There was a description with plate number and it wasn't a very big town. He never had a chance  . Sorry for the thread jack.

Those are great trucks. The TBI 350 will go forever if treated well. I worked on one regularly for years that was recently retired at over 300K miles. The transmission was starting to slip and the owner decided after 20 years he deserved a newer truck. He really misses it though.

how much would you sell me the dash for? Mine has a crack from above the radio straight to the windshield.

I guess I should clarify why I call her christine...well I grew up watching the movie. Yes I know its an old plymouth fury. But the basis of this story is my truck was a little rough around the edges. The lights would cut in and out. The radio worked when it wanted. After driving for about 20 min she would sputter like she was misfiring. And to top it all off the turn signals would not work. So when I finally got her home, I gave her once over. I was stumped. Nothing seemed wrong. Bulbs and relays all had power. No plug wires shortened out. NOTHING. And I got pissed off, slammed the hood and my next reaction went like this; "damnit christine..(slaps the hood). ****in work! (slaps hood again)" and I swear I walked away for 20 minutes, returned to take it up to my uncles shop. Since I called her christine and slapped her, NOT ONE SINGLE PROBLEM. Im not bullshittin. She has ran perfect, radio comes on like normal, turn signals work just fine. So thats why her name is christine..
