do you have any more pics of the header clearance, and fittment issues you could post up for me? were in the middle of putting a 5.3 truck motor in his monte and the question of what header to use has been a big brain fart. lol

any pics would be great.

Nice malibu. Never read much into air ride but it looks nice.

Could you maybe give a few more details on your 8.8 swap?

use mustang adjustable uppers with sperical ends. stock g body lower. Factory width of a 79-93 drum brake 8.8
Companies that make the swap control arms would not give me the lenght without buying them. And this is why i think they dont.

dont have the headers on the car right now. im in the middle of sand blasting and painting them. but they fit great on the driver side except for the column shift. just did some engineering and moved some pieces arount on it and now it works great. the pass headers hit the frame with one tube. i just heat up around the spot and hit it with a hammer and wood to move it in but not dent the tube.

Great project! I'm checking into the possibility of doing an LS in my wagon. Is there a required parts list somewhere on the forum or on the web? How about cost for swap NOT including the motor itself?

What did you do for brackets and such to get the 8.8 in there? Did it have to be narrowed?

Thanks!
check out ls1tech.com or maliburacing.com they have a bunch of good info on there on there lsx conversions threads

just regular bags in the front with separate shock. wanted more travel out of the front and the same in the rear. ran two compressors and one little tank so i only pumps for about 8 seconds to fill back up
