Looks like your TV/kickdown cable needs to be reconnected 8)

I'd personally forgo the F&F look and stick with an open element cleaner unless it was for a ram-air setup.

Its an interesting look. If I was going to do something like that, I'd try to get the air filter element closer to a colder air source (in behind the grill, down near the lower part of the front inner fender, etc), so you could take advantage of the cooler air. I recently saw an ad for an air cleaner setup for older Camaros (I think it was from Spectre Products), where there are 2 ram air style tubes leading from the lower front corners of the engine compartment to an air cleaner on the carburetor. That looks kind of neat too.

sorry I got to 2nd that, if you ran another tube and mounted the air cleaner in front of the coor support .... that would probably be a huge cool air benefit.

I have made this one down at my tech school...too bad i cant use it due to a raised intake with no hood clearance

How much of a clearance issue. I got a short lid from a factory dual snorkel (think it's a Monte 305 HO ap). It's very flat ... doesn't raise up like the stock 307 air cleaner lids. Would require a shorter air filter.

hood barely fits with holley carb and edelbrock performer rpm intake.I would run this air cleaner with an edelbrock lid to reduce clearance, but it would still be an issue

well that blows. any consolation I will probably have to take both vac doors off of mine and seal over the tube for the heatriser .... doesn't look like this Chevy piece will clear my tall Olds V/Cs atleast not without some work.
