You did a great job. I wish I could find a place to move my climate controls in my '79 GP so that I could run a double din!

That looks really nice. The radio is out of mine right now and I was considering doing what you did, or go old school and put in a radio and a CB below it. I'm still undecided, but yours looks really nice!

did u have to cut any metal out for it to fit? looks good as hell tho

No metal cutting really just trimming of vinyl edges. But here's the deal after doing this setup I hated it. It was such a long reach to get to the radio for usage. Now a lot of that could because the unit I have relies mostly on the touch screen for usage even though it does have a remote. But one of the joys of having a touch screen double din is using it. I'm building something different for my new car I think I will like much better. I'll post pics next week

i understand that its funny how far back the seats are, im used to having steering wheel controls also good luck with install and ill be watching 8) 8)

There's a kit you can buy that flips your climate control and radio around(climate control to the bottom and radio to the top.hit up elco Warren he's had it for awhile. :wink:
