Hope your transmsision fluid issue is not critical or terminal. I have to say though, the pics of your aunt are priceless - truly priceless.

You need to find some bias ply rubber to make it complete.

Bottomed the tailshaft into the slip yoke?

It was fun while it lasted :0

So...... what had happened was.....
I mighta been a little tuned up after tuning the car, and decided the street wasn't quite black enough. I pulled out of my driveway, went left, and turned around in the neighbor's driveway to get pointed back home. I then proceeded to not get it out of reverse or pull it out and put it right back in, set the line lock, and dump the clutch. The tailshaft housing and the reverse gears were the only, let's say, "era correct" parts left. I split the tailshaft housing and knocked all the teeth off the gears. I got the GM part number off the side, so hopefully I can get some parts ordered before I get it out and apart. Carnage, sorta kinda

I thought you bottomed out and cracked the trans case. Not cool but an easier fix.

There's a place in Syracuse that will most likely have those parts on the shelf. Auto Gear Co, ask for Nate and tell him I sent you.
