Well I bought the car for 500 dollars With a chevy 305 and 700r4 trans but boy I tell you this car was so F"d up lol, Different head's on the engine starter wire was a 0 gauge amp wire that had grounded off to the frame, Fans were not connected nor working, body was pretty good but still have a lot of work to do to it but here's some pics before and after I started on my Project 🙂..

o, this is what i'm planning on putting in it.

Rebuilding a Olds 350 for it.
670 Holley double pumper.
200r4 trans.
3.73 posi rear end.

And what ever else i can afford lol..

I got that 350 and trans for free so i was like i might as well do the right thing.

Solid project for 500, I got a 80 nose on my 79. I also had a 700 r 4 I put in line last year but then burned up the 3-4 clutch packs so no freeway gears, but now I got the old th350 in there. It's ok but damn that overdrive is nice to have for cruising.

Trust me i feel you pain on that replacing a 700r4 for a th350 lol my car barely burn out now but that 700r4 was beast and the 80 nose is a nice look those four lights look nice with a H.I.D kit especially but thanks i'm learning as i go.

Dropped the gas tank to prep it and get it ready for undercoating and the undercarriage to i might as well undercoat that also.
