Started on the radius arms this evening. Passenger side is the one that was cracked. Here's where I left off.

The two bolts that go into the top and bottom axle will not start to thread. I'm gonna have to take the arm back off and find a tap and die and clean up the threads. Had a miserable day at work and this thing was just irritating me even more so I had to stop for the night. I'll mess with it tomorrow.

I decided to leave this thing alone today. Too sore and frustrated to mess with it. I'm seriously to think about replacing this truck. It's a good old truck but it's just getting to be too much to keep it going as a daily driver. More than that it's becoming too expensive. The past few months it has cost as much as a car payment in maintenance. I love this thing but for that much I'd rather be driving a new truck that's more reliable and less rusty. I know it's going to be a painful separation but I think in the end it's gonna be for the best.

I'm not sure what I might replace it with. I would like to keep a manual transmission vehicle in the rotation but here aren't a lot of choices with a newer truck. Not really sure when this might happen either but I'm gonna start looking at new(ish) vehicles.
