Ok so I got one side changed out with the new cargo springs and shocks, you can see the homemade spring jacks in the picture that look dangerous and use a stock spring on top to get more height out of the rear. With those out I put the new variable rate cargo springs in and I think it sits really good, big improvement. Hopefully ill do the other side today

Those spring lifts do look kinda funky and dangerous. You definitely made the right call to remove them.

Ahhh, Speedway spring spacers, normally used in the top of the front spring tower where they can't get loose.

So that's how they work...I've never encountered them before. Lucky me... 🙂

Yeah Jack, there is a hole in the center for the stock shock absorber. For the rear you want something like this, which is what I used. My stock perches were rusted away and these are heavy duty.I welded them in and POR-15'd them.

At least I can see these as a viable solution for rusted out rear perches. Good ole' Speedway Motors 🙂

I might just have to move those on over the the other page. :lol: they were really leaning, i dont see how on a good bump they didnt fly out... oh wait... the shocks were fully extended from all the lift.. but at least they are out and both sides are sitting nice and ride a whole lot better. Next stop front shocks and go from there, will be doing some motor work/cleanup soon. I will post pictures of the new rear stance now that its all done
