If your lucky you might be able to find a decent header panel at a junk yard, but your better off just trying to find someone selling the whole front clip with grille bezels and lights. The car may have been in a slight accident which would explain the different style header panel. They will pretty much wont survive any collision that gets past the bumper.

yeah we found some header panels for like $150 shipped, I think the grill is correct but we will need more headlight bezels and the side lights, will i need different headlights and what about the bumper filler? is that the same?

then we gotta get it re-sprayed, the car has silver flake in the paint so who knows what color it is exactly

oh well, could be a lot worse I guess.

we are installing a gauge cluster today for oil pressure, water temp, and volt meter.

tuesday we are plasti-dipping all the chrome and changing it to black.

smart move with the gauges. Always a good thing to keep an eye on things. If you have to go through that much work to change the header panel I would just leave it.
