Its not even close to restorable. Needs a frame, doors, quarters, complete floor, etc. The hood is even rotten. Would cost a fortune to save. The pictures actually make it look better than it is. When every brake line and the gas line is rusted off of it, you know it is pretty rusty. 🙂
Sounds like my car when I bought it.

I am not going to fix this body. I want to fix up my first car. If I restored this car, it would take a pantload of work, and for what? I will have a nice car and my fist car would be sitting in the barn all lonely. I am not going to fix two cars up...

The white 2+2 is completely rotten. I can put a screwdriver through the floor in most places.
Great score(for your inten  tions)cant wait to see your progress, and how you all do up deer in 😀 canada

That catalytic converter is worth some coin. I like to trade stock ones like that at the muffler shop for work I need done .

great score. Look at it like this. It easily could've just been scrapped and no parts saved from it. It definitely isn't worth it to save it. Maybe someday. Its too bad it was let go for so long. Good luck and I'm also looking forward to your build.

Thanks guys. Once I take the front fascia and back window/trunk, there really isn't anything left that would be of interest to a 2+2 collector for parts. 🙂 Other than the VIN.

like the others in here, I hate to see an original fall by the wayside, but also understand all what can't be seen in the pics...

Save what ya can, and mod the crap out of the true love!

That's a great find, So sad to see it was left to rot. I remember seeing one of these at the locale dealer when they first came out . Such a cool car, I hope you can save some of the cool parts to make another car live.

X2!!!
