My next motor will probably a 400 with a 350 block...

the guy told me that the motor was already in a 1976 Trans-am and had alots of power. So I taught for 350$ with the transmission included, that was a good deal and better horsepower than my 305.
 
You bet!

Just make sure you get the motor mounts and you'll be ready to drop right in!
 
You don't need the rubber mounts off of the frame, you need the brackets bolted to the side of the engine so that you can bolt it down in your car.
