what is the difference between h pipes, x pipes and straight back...besides sound, better flow? better performance? just curious.

Hehe... I thought you might ask. It's been covered quite a few times on this forum. Check this thread out: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=23693&start=15#p178481 -- it will give you a feel for how people feel about each style. Pay attention to my explanation on the difference between X and H pipes and the reasons for getting each -- mainly, the deciding factor is sound (over performance) because performance difference is negligible. 😉

BTW I saw the video, car looks and sounds beautiful. I'm so jealous. And drooled a little.

What about dump offs with turn downs? That ish sounds good but loud!

Hey Joe in the 1 pic it looked like your oil filter was some what close to your header. I know you mentioned using a short filter for clearance. Do you think your oil filter is experiencing heat soak from your headers?

no problems with oil filter, if you could see it in person there is plenty of space between header and filter for heat dissipation

Cool. I've been thinking about Ceramic coated headers vs header wrap to keep the under hood temps down. Ceramic coating seems to be a cost effective long term solution. I'll probably use a remote mount oil filter kit as well with an oil cooler. What do your friends think about your car?
