I guess ill have to check can you tell by just looking at it i figure i can or will i have to compress and decompress the spring?

there's a hole in the lower that is right at the end of where the spring is suppose to sit...I forget if the end of the spring covers the hole but I don't think it does....if you remove the wheel you should see where the lower has a pocket the end of the spring sits in. If I remember right it's on the inside of the seat in the arm..

depending how far from the spring is from where it is supposed to be you might be able to play with the spring to get it in place.. but.if you have stock springs you'll have to compress them

STOP! this is a very common problem when front springs or lower A-arms are replaced. when you tighten the LCA with it hanging it gets "stuck" there. set the car up with full weight on the front wheels (ramps work well), loosen up the LCA bolts and bounce the front end a few times. then retighten the bolts. this lowered my car almost an inch.

lower control arm....it's code

and good call mega, I'm so use to working with polyurethane bushing I forgot all about the oem bushing set up

lower control arm
sorry

i changed my front springs a few months ago and my car sits way high in the front. u think by loosen up the LCA bolts and bouncing the front end a few times will fix it?

the lower control with stock bushings has to be tightened only when the car is sitting with it's weight on the wheels...like mega said you have to bounce the car a few times to get the springs to settle and I would move the car a few feet ahead and back to make sure the front wheels are at their neutral position. If you have urethane bushings you don't need to worry about this..
