I slowly quit following it after Sr died but I tried to root for Jr. I still dont understand how Jr never finishes in the top 10 yet hes STILL the fan fave.suffrn6 said:NASCAR died the day Earnhardt SR was killed in Daytona. And then dug their own grave when Toyota was allowed to compete.Whats next Nissan, Honda etc etc.
The only reason that Jr is the fan favorite is all because of his last name and who his daddy was. I have been an Earhardt fan since the mid eighty's. I even got to meet Sr at a local short track back in the late eighties, was the highlight of my life at the time. I would like to see Jr pull his head out of his *ss and start to drive like Sr used to. Lead, follow or get out of the way, and if you don't you are about to meet the wall. I would like to see Jr make a big comeback and start to win some championships. When and if that ever happens then I will watch more then one race a year. The only race I have watched in the last 5-6 years is the Daytona 500.
