That mag article had something to do with the sprag gear? or drum? weighing 31 lbs or somthing like that and spinning twice your rpm and stopping and starting in a split second. It didn't say it would break instantly but the burnout is harser the normal driving because there is less load on the trans so it spins quicker faster. It would put wear and tear on the trans.
