Need advice on B&M Shifters

I have a Mega-Shifter in one of my Olds & has held up to the abuse very well. It fits in the stock console, had to do very slight trimming for the top plate to fit perfectly. Usually these shifters have a pin and an E-Clip that is removed if you are going from a 3-spd to 4-spd, then you can replace the lens. One thing is if you get the regular Mega-shifter the handle may be a little tall for your taste but you can buy the F-body handle kit - I am not sure if the F-body shifter is different in the mounting so can't say 100% if it'll work.

The 2 main things is cable length to make sure it doesn't bind and making sure carpet doesn't get caught into the mechanism.

I had a B&M shifter with my th350... I hated it, I went to a factory 3 speed setup and now its perfect. I maintain the reverse manual shift pattern of my trans and the factory look. The aftermarket jobs just don't compare to factory engineering...
