MONTE CARLO Need an edelbrock combo for sbc 305

Ok so I decided to go all edelbrock on top, ordered the manifold kit, and have a manual choke 600 to go on top. What will I need to modify to make carb configure to old hookups? Ie., vacuum, brake boost, linkage...am I overthinking this? Just want to be prepared for install and ready to get my car back on the road.

Definitely in for info on this, literally the same setup I’m getting ready for (1405 600cfm with manual choke, EPS or factory manifold... still deciding). Mine should be installed in the next 2 weeks as I have time.. in retrospect I would have gone with a smaller carb but I got the carb and intake for $100 so I couldn’t argue

Only had little time for manifold this weekend, so I took apart the top end to make way for carb on Monday. Took pics as necessary, cataloged everything in bags in case I might need again or for reference, and cleaned heads for gaskets. Will post more pics when I get back to car, here goes a link that really helpd. Followed all instructions and not a good clean surface ready.

Update, went with the 2701 manifold and a 1405 carb, amd it was going well until i dropped a bolt down distributor shaft hole..... so i dropped oil pan, fished it out and sealed everything up. I tightened manifold a bit after it warmed up, and checked oil for anything other than oil. I replaced plugs, cap rotor coil, new gaskets, fluids and top end, think im good for another 5000 miles. Overall im satsified, see a slight gain in hp, will tune in future. Recommend this combo for anypne else, read up alot and feel i got what i wanted.
