I have a 87 Grand Prix with a 305 it was running good awhile ago. It has a pretty noticeable exhaust leak on the left intake manifold and/or somewhere on the exhaust pipe close to the engine , I can't tell. Not sure if that's what causing the problem but recently it has been hesitating on the freeway when I get up to 55mph-60mph if I let go of the pedal it continues just fine until I go back up to 60. No check engine light comes on and all the gauges indicate everything is good. The car starts fine even when is cold. It may or may not be running at high RPMs I don't know cause I don't have an RPM gauge but it sounds like it sometimes.
Also, the car shakes a lot at the same speed I'm pretty sure that has to do with the motor mounts and probably has nothing to do with the first problem.
What could be the problem.
