Ok I want to do a custom guages on my car. Reason being no of my gauges work in my dash. So when I install the gauges what things do I need to look out for and to remove or re-wire? Also my car is pretty much all old school...

This is my current gauge cluster

I would go with like an Autometer setup anolog or electric guages (which you prefer) Just make a plate to replace your original guage cluster from aluminum or thin steel (or even plastic) You should be able to locate mounting holes in the plate to use the screws that held your original cluster.

As far as wiring goes ... I located original wiring from the cluster harness for a couple of things (fuel sender wire light wires) I will eventually remove all of the original wiring from behind the dash (it's a rats nest back there)
