Need help with 97 Cavalier 2.2

Well I put the old IAC back in and now its alot better but still idles a little low it seems. Maybe im just being paranoid but it doesnt stall anymore. I couldnt find anything online about the IAC's being different.

Try getting another new one from another place. Maybe the one you got was boxed wrong.

So the misfire issue is solved and you're just chasing the idle issue, right? Have you cleaned the throttle body itself? Carb cleaner and a tooth brush to clean the carbon on the throttle plate and bore.

I cleaned the throttle body over the winter when I cleaned the IAC. It seems like its normal one day but other days it sounds like it idles lower than it should.
