Thank you so much, I will include all the parts for the quadrajet including a new filter and I'll put in a 90° so it'll be a rare straight fuel line.....🙂

LOL.
SMH, I though life was easier the older you got ! First time I have sat down in 2 hours

Like Turna I don't have those heater ports at the back of the intake on either my stock one nor on the GMPP intake on my car.

But I concur that 17" should be the correct length with the curve in the line. Worst case order 18" and they will have some bow in them.

.. and I agree with you that I should also send him my spare qjet so he can have one as a complete reference point if he cant remember how to put it together after he takes yours apart thinking surely a carburetor cannot be working this well for this long. For sure some power valve is blown or the needle seat needs adjusting ( common holley issues ). LOL J\K

Gotta go Bruins are on !

Are you trying to buy pre-fabbed lines?

On my BBC I ran them from the backside and under the intake runners.

On my SBC I ran them off the front with 45's and straight fittings, I always use 8 AN lines and 90* fittings for both the intake and spacer since on the intake they give a lower profile than a 90* AN fitting.
Also if you are running a thermostat it must always be above the spacer otherwise it will bypass so much water the thermostat will not open.
The rear port locations can be in different locations on different intakes, I have another SBC intake set up for rear cooling and the lines are 1" shorter.
And I also like keeping the lines pretty tight so they don't rub on aluminum valve covers.

I am always impressed with the work that you do and the results. Thanks for your tips and I wasn't thinking about changing the location of the thermostat so thanks to you I won't be making that mistake
