when you get them you might want to change the grease zerks to 90* zerks to make it easier to grease the uppers

stock uppers are 8" length, for the tall spindle you need a 7" upper. I use UB machine uppers. You can order 7" uppers from them but it takes forever to get them so I use their 8" upper, cut an inch out of them and weld them. UB machine has a 7" upper for the right side from a circle track set up so you can order 2 of them and flip one over to use it on the left.

Another thing with that 12" upgrade. The camaro spindle gives you an 11" rotor which is lighter and it uses the same brake pad as the 12" rotor. We used the B body spindle upgrade on our race car to get the 5x5 bolt pattern and car didn't get any better lap times with the 12" rotor over the 11" rotor

i forget the rotor that is on it off the top of my head but it still has the 5 x 4.75 pattern . one spindel with new rotor and bearngs oem caliper and one with just spindel were free. only reason i upgraded. not realy worried about weight but thanks for the tip

will the ub machine arms will be fine for a weekend car and a drag race every now and then. it will be a lot cheeper than the spohn ones

you dont hapen to have the 7" part # for th ub ones and how long is the wait? i cant weld

thank you

This is really cool. I have a set of B body 12" rotor spindles for my SS and this explains how I'm going to get them on the car...

Are the 7" arms the same price? I didn't know the right one would work flipped on the other side...cool.

One rotor that will work on the B body spindle and has a 5x4.75" pattern is for the 1LE Camaro, there may be others.
