well let's take it this way ...Kurt certainly dint know about this type of "rocket" engine designed for prostock alike engines ...
what he certainly meant was that olds called there engines "rocket" as a marketing salepromotion ....;-)


those blocks were created in the 80"s cause i witnessed it in a calais FWD look alike pro stock car in 82

ah! those " corporate engines " what a pain it started to be !
hope this therad wont last forever ...

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, but I did indeed know about those blocks, thats why I kept saying "Rocket Block" and not motor. I just couldn't find the specifics until I found that same page joe_padavano posted right before he posted it.

Doesn't matter anyway, the kid already sold it and told me I was "asking too many unnecessary questions." :lol:
 
Well... that's a sign that you should not have bought it in the first place, so no real loss there.

I feel the same way. I asked for the VIN # (so I could run a Carfax) and he says "dunno why you would need this but here it is..." :shock:
